Last week was a dark one to say the least. We lost two dear friends here close to home and a third out in Los Angeles. I've been thankful to have my head buried in the new job so as to save myself too much of the reality of their passing. The friends I've seen have all been at a total loss for words and that's sort of where I find myself most of the time. Seems like there's a grown man in tears everywhere you look in this town right now.

I missed Jason's funeral due to work and I of course can't get away to make Kelli's out in L.A.linklinklink but I will go with Ronna to Josh's and I will do my best to make it to a few of the benefits around town although I am concerned that the liquor that will surely be overflowing will make seeing my friends a little more hard to take.linklinklink I've been doing pretty well as far as staying out of the bottle and I have no desire to crawl back in it now but I can't begrudge the brothers and sisters that do.linklinklink

I know this though.linklinklink..I won't hesitate to tell the one's I love what they mean to me and I will be sure to keep an eye out and have their back at a moment's notice.linklinklink Take a minute to do the same for your own.linklinklink There's not always enough time to do it next time you see them.linklinklink
